I love this this line by David Whyte, from the poem "What To Remember When Waking." It speaks of hope and invites us to look within to see what might be there that maybe we hadn't noticed before.
There is so much potential within us - ideas and strengths waiting to be shared. When things are going wrong or feeling overwhelming, this potential gets covered up in a cloud of stress. When trying to figure it out, it's natural to want to focus on what's wrong and the negative. Strengths theory says that by moving the spotlight onto your strengths and natural talents, you'll fix that problem more quickly, find creative answers to your questions, and increase your sense of well-being many times over! This is the value I'll bring to our work together.
